Description
This listing is for one reel of hand spun two ply sewing thread spun from flax (linen threads) or wool (plant dyed or undyed). There are 4 meters of thread on each reel.
To choose thread type and colour see the dropdown menu, and add as many reels as you would like to your basket.
I have handspun these threads for reenactors and living history, larp, or any kind of natural sewing, embroidery, or fiber arts. They are beautiful earthy colours. I’ve made the little wild bobbins from Welsh hedgerow wood here on this land.
Because they are hand crafted and slow made in tiny batches from hand dyed fibers, each bobbin of thread is unique and one of a kind.
I also sometimes have some threads dyed in madder, and in weld from the dye garden here in the Welsh hills, if they’re not in our listings, pop me a message and I’ll see if I have any left.
They can be worked with in your fiber art projects or make a beautiful little gift.
