Description
Creative yarn spinning – intermediate. A full day (5 hours) learning fun creative yarn spinning, in a peaceful weaving workshop on a small holding in the beautiful Welsh hills. Play with colour and texture, preparing wools, silks, and other fibres into beautiful blends, then creating your own designer yarns, working on an art yarn spinning wheel. The wools, and other fibres are provided for you, and there is a spinning wheel and spindles for you to work on during your workshop, or you can bring your own if you prefer. If you would like to, you are welcome to meet the sheep during your visit. We have a flock of Shetland sheep who live with us on the smallholding. Lunch break is between 12.30pm – 1.30pm Please bring along a packed lunch. The workshop may have others attending, or might be just yourself. If you would prefer a one to one session please message me. If you are travelling to get here, there is a farm cottage and a cabin on site that may be available for you to book.
