A magic carpet blanket rug, handcrafted and very slowmade with Love and one of a kind.

I have handwoven this rug from wools, my own handspun art yarns, all from hand carded and/or hand dyed beautiful fibers and local wools, I have also woven through the shawl hand dyed yarns, plant dyed yarns, undyed wools, plant dyed Shetland wool, and recycled yarns.
It looks beautiful thrown over the back of a chair or other furniture, or on a floor (somewhere not too hard wearing). It’s made from soft wools, and is small enough to be able to roll up and travel with.
It measures 132cms x 80cms (including the tasselwork at either end)
This one has lots of texture, embellished with tassel work, spun tassels, curly locks, woven textures, recycled silks, embellishments, and beautiful colours.
A magical handspun, handwoven, and hand dyed piece. It also looks beautiful thrown over a chair or bed.
The price reflects the weeks of the process of hand carding, handspinning, warping, handweaving, tasselwork, and embellishing, and all the beautiful hand dyed fibers spun through it to create this one of a kind piece.
Washing instructions – Handwash separately, very gently in luke warm water, with a natural eco friendly washing liquid (without the harsh chemicals and foaming agents) a natural wool wash liquid. Gently rinse thoroughly in warm water, and re-shape laying flat to dry naturally.
