Tangled fishing nets, tideline treasures, and seashells.
This beautiful, wild & delicate wall art piece is created from my love of beachcombing, lobster pots, old worn fishing nets, the sea and all it’s treasures.
It has been made through a long process using many different skills, and time, to create. Made with lots of beautiful hand dyed fiber, and hand spun art yarns, natural threads, Icelandic wool, completely one of a kind!
It has gorgeous colours in it of natural undyed whites, ecru, and flashes of other colours, just like the flashes of colour you see all along the tideline from what the sea has left there for you to find.
Loads of texture! And lots of curls and locks, nettle, and real handspun seaweed fiber, all displayed on rustic driftwood, with beautiful added decor of a natural seashells.
This piece measures 55cms in length, from the top of the hanging cord, to the bottom of the hanging fringes. And 25cms width from one end of the driftwood to the other.
