Lea Wild Creative at TORM – November 14th-16th 2025

|

We are very excited to announce that Lea Wild Creative will be at TORM (The Original Reenactors’ Market) this November 2025!
We’re delighted to be sharing a stall with “The Good Wives” – Sarah Thursfield and Ruth Gilbert.

What We’re Bringing

We will be selling a selection of Spinning and Weaving equipment, including some new spindles that we are very excited about.
We have made these spindles together — the spindle sticks are hand turned by me (Luke), and the whorls have been hand crafted and fired from clay by Lea.

We will be bringing:

  • The wool that Lea sheared from our flock of Shetland sheep this summer
  • Niddy Noddys hand crafted from Welsh hedgerows wood
  • Hand Sewn Belt Bags
  • Tablet and Heddle woven distaff ribbons and headbands
  • Tablet weaving pins
  • Hand spun thread that Lea has spun from wool and hand dyed with plants — madder root, weld from our dye garden, indigo, and golden rod
  • Linen thread spun from the flax distaff

We also have heddles, shuttles and tablets for band weaving.

Workshops & Heritage Crafts

Lea will be taking bookings for our historic craft weekends and classes in heritage crafts, such as thread spinning and working with a distaff.
These hands-on sessions are a wonderful opportunity to explore traditional textile techniques and connect with the heritage of spinning and weaving.

See You at TORM!

It’s been a long time since we traded on a stall, so we’re really looking forward to meeting everyone who visits.
Come and say hello, see what we’ve been making, and share in our passion for heritage textiles and handcrafts.
We’ve even modernised – we’ve got a card machine now!
